Aesthetically to some it may not seem like much. Again simplicity is the name of the game. The web is shifting towards providing boosts to those who can provide quality content that's easy to find. There is an abundance of sites out there that make it their job to confuse you, even Google is providing incentive to websites who shift towards installing AMP pages (basically a dumbed down version of your website with little to no graphics and focuses heavily on written content).
I've often over thought the web design process, this time I kept it simple with colour and what to showcase. As I shift to build websites that are properly optimized for search I've incorporated some tools in this site to help those who own a website with some tips on things that may be effecting your current rank. It's no secret that Google likes clean, simplistic, code that runs fast and lowers the page load time. Tool on the home page will allow you to enter in your website address along with a keyword you'd like to rank for (like Grande Prairie Web Design) and then will spit out a report telling you some things that are preventing your website from being properly optimized for search.
It's been long over due but I've also finally completed a Case Studies section where I'll be showcasing my work. It's currently empty at the moment but in the coming days I'll be populating it with the websites I've designed over the course of the last year. As I finish more I'll be updating this on the blog as well as in the case study section.
The theme of this post has been being simplistic and the services page is exactly that. I've drastically narrowed down all the services I offer to focus on the primary ones I feel are best suited for digital marketing. These six services all tie in together and when built with one another provide the much needed SMACK to ensure your online business thrives and constantly grows.
Analytics - The proof is in the pudding. A proper Analytics setup is a must to ensure you know where your visitors are coming from, how they're interacting and ultimately if you're meeting your goals.
Content Marketing - The lifeblood of digital marketing today. For years SEO's have tried to avoid the subject that "Content Is King". Those that do are likely using things like Private Blog Networks to push your rank. I won't deny the fact PBN's work but having proven content that people want to share and read will out weigh almost every PBN out there. An excellent content marketing plan suited for your niche will help build legitimate backlinks without the fear of penalty from shady sources.
SEM and PPC - When poorly executed Pay Per Click can be arguably the biggest waste of money. Having proper landing pages and properly optimizing your ads will make your conversions a whole heck of a lot more powerful.
SEO - Search Engine Optimization is a two part process that involves ensuring your website is properly setup and then making sure your backlinks are properly optimized for it. SEO is often talked about in a negative light quite simply because to many providers are doing it poorly. If you've ever gotten the $99 dollar email for SEO I will tell you this...you get what you pay for.
Social Media Marketing - No online campaign is complete without social media. Without it you're missing out on a substantial amount of revenue and traffic. Being able to use the right tactics to utilize content, social media advertising, calls to action, targeting, and tracking pixels is imperative to success.
Web Design - Finally you need a foundation to begin your online venture. Having a beautiful website is important but ensuring it's mobile friendly, fast and properly optimized can make the difference in your next digital marketing campaign.
